Are you the responsible rebel we are looking for?
The most dangerous person is the one who listens, thinks and observes.
Hunt & Hackett helps European companies prevent, detect and respond to today’s most advanced adversaries, safeguarding them against cyberthreats and espionage. We don’t stir a bit into security strategies; our talented team of responsible rebels shakes them up to build, operate and maintain digital immune systems for our customers to outsmart their digital adversaries.
To extend our multidisciplinary team, we are now hiring a project management officer working student (in case you’re wondering, no ... it’s not an internship, but a real job with responsibilities and a fair salary). Are you an organizational superstar who can balance various tasks and priorities? Do you thrive on administrative tasks? Do you belong to the most talented group of project management officers – or is this where you plan to be? Then Hunt & Hackett might be the best next step in your career.
PMO Working Student at Hunt & Hackett
As a Project Management Officer Working Student at Hunt & Hackett, you’ll be in the thick of it, helping keep the gears turning in some of the most challenging and cutting-edge projects in cybersecurity. This isn't a typical student job where you grab coffee and observe. You’ll be hands-on, supporting the Project Management Officer, and taking on tasks that make a real impact.
Your day? It’s about more than just assisting—you’ll be building project dossiers, executing crucial administrative tasks, and supporting various teams across our multidisciplinary environment. You’re the go-to person for preparing and sharing project documentation with clients, and you’ll be the one setting up meetings with customers, whether it’s a kick-off, workshop, or service meeting.
But we’re not looking for someone who just follows a to-do list. You’ll monitor project progress like a hawk, flagging risks and potential issues before they become problems, and communicating them to the right teams. And when it comes to preparing project reports for senior management, you’ll be right in the action, making sure the data is clear, accurate, and tells the story of the project.
You’re not just here to assist—you’re here to learn, grow, and contribute in meaningful ways. We want someone who’s ready to take the initiative, who’s curious, and who sees project management not as a steppingstone, but as a craft. If you’re ready to support and challenge yourself in the fast-paced world of cybersecurity project management, then Hunt & Hackett is ready for you.
To sum it all up, your main tasks include:
- Supporting the project management officer;
- Assisting with creating project dossiers and executing administrative tasks;
- Supporting various teams and stakeholders, answering their questions;

- Planning meetings with customers (i.e. kick-offs, workshops, service meetings);

A culture of ‘responsible rebellion’
Only (very) talented, multidisciplinary teams of threat hunters, intelligence analysts, reverse engineers, data scientists, developers and hackers are able to outsmart the increasingly professional community of cyber attackers. We pride ourselves as a force for the good and as such we think and act as responsible rebels. We are not ‘just another security company’, and our people are not ‘just employees’. Everyone at Hunt & Hackett wants to be the best in their field and focuses at delivering next-gen levels of service. This means that we:
- Push the envelope. Everyone at our teams takes the responsibility to make our work better every day, by being creative and coloring outside the lines if needed.
- Help you to become the best version of yourself. We bring together the best minds in the field, to inspire each other and to learn from each other. Personal development and growth are important to us and our customers.
- Build mission driven teams. We believe in the power of small teams who can focus on strategic tasks, not on repetitive work that can be automated. It’s up to you to make this happen.
- Believe that God is in the details. Tiny details can have a huge impact, especially in security. This is why we champion tradecraft. We are system thinkers that oversee the big picture but who are simultaneously obsessive about the details.
- Are Responsible Rebels. We are polite. We are courteous. We show professionalism.
